(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad- a British newspaper announced on Monday the killing of two Australians from “the most dangerous” leaders of ISIS near the city of Mosul.

The “Daily Mail” newspaper said in a report followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Australians are Khaled Shrrouff and Mohammed Elomar,” indicating that “one person close to them said that they were killed during battles near the city of Mosul over the past few days, this news has been confirmed today. ”

The report added that “the terrorist Shroff appeared in a photo posted to social media holding two severed heads, and became a prominent figure with Australians who had joined ISIS. It is also believed that Elomar recently married the 14-year-old daughter of Sharrouf.

The newspaper noted in its report that “the Australian government confirmed that it is waiting the results of the verification of the two dead bodies.”

The Australian Attorney-General George Brandes revealed in January 24, 2015 that the ISIS is recruiting Australians to fight in Iraq and Syria, in spite of new laws of the government.
