As Suwayda (Syria News) Syrian regime forces and allied militias managed, on Tuesday, to capture areas on the Syrian-Jordanian borders, in the eastern countryside of As Suwayda.

Qasioun News reported, on Wednesday, that Syrian regime forces and allied militias managed to capture strategic areas near the borders with Jordan, after the withdrawal of the Syrian rebels from their locations in the eastern countryside of As Suwayda.

According to sources belong to the Syrian regime, the recaptured areas exceed 100 square kilometers; thus, government forces are only 10 kilometers away from the Syrian-Jordanian borders.

Recently, Syrian regime forces and allied foreign militias managed to recapture a wide range of the Syrian Badiyah and eastern countryside of As Suwayda.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian army launched an extensive offensive in the Badiyah area, in order to reach the borders of both Iraq and Jordan.
