(BasNews) The Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS) headquarter in Girki Laki town, 70 km east of Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan (Rojava), was bombed early on Wednesday.

The ENKS headquarter in Girki Laki was exploded by the forces affiliated with the ruling Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Rojava. The ENKS local board member Ismail Hammoud told BasNews “ENKS’ official headquarter in Girki Laki was bombed and an armed force affiliated with Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) raided the office.”

Hammoud said all ENKS headquarters in Rojava have been closed and all its political activities have been banned.

“The PKK has launched a massive campaign against the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria (KDP-S) and ENKS,” Sa’id Omer, a KDP-S leading member told BasNews.
