(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, the Ambassador of the EU in Iraq, Jana Hybaskova said that the organization ISIS seeks to build ‘an oil empire and not an Islamic one’ in Syria and Iraq and stated that it has ambitions to invade Saudi Arabia. She also pointed out that the air strikes launched by the international coalition “cannot destroy it.”

Hybaskova said in the an interview with the Czech daily newspaper Noviny and followed by IraqiNews.com: “ISIS seeks to control the oil wells in Syria, northern Iraq and possibly in Saudi Arabia, too,” noting that “the main problem now is whether ISIS plans for an invasion of parts of Saudi Arabia, especially that many people are likely to sympathize with extremist ideas inside the Kingdom.”

Hybaskova added that “the Saudi monarchy has spent long years fighting against extremists, but reports indicate the ISIS fighters or their supporters had killed members of the Saudi security forces,” and “the security fence amounted to 900 km, held by Saudi Arabia along its borders with Iraq, will not stop the terrorists from infiltrating its territory for a long time.”

The Ambassador of European Union explained that “ISIS was basically a branch of Al-Qaeda, despite the absence of a common ground between the two sides from the beginning,” pointing out that “ISIS represents a real state of organized crime, that trades in women, children, monuments and human organs, and sells Yzidi women to Gulf Arab and Asian countries for $300 per one.”

Hybaskova added that “the organization of the Islamic State (ISIS) tries to show itself as a terrorist organization despite its adoption of military strategy”, noting that “the leaders of ISIS are intending to broadcast reports of brutality and barbarism over the internet, in order to spread terror in the hearts of their enemies and the west, too”
