Iran says it foiled ‘foreign plots to recruit its nuclear scientists’

Tehran (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the security in the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Asghar Zarean, on Tuesday, said that the government in Iran has foiled foreign plots to recruit local scientists who work within the Iranian nuclear program.

Zarean added in his statement to AP that “the foreign intelligence agency attempted to recruit the Iranian experts while having been abroad.”

No further details were revealed around the plots during a visit by an AP team to the organization in Tehran. At an earlier time, state officials in Iran organized that visit by AP to the organization, including a tour in Tehran Research Reactor.
