(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The ISIS has cut off the heads of two women for the first time in Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The director of the Syrian Observatory Rami Abdel-Rahman said: “ISIS has executed two women by cutting off their heads in Deir al-Zour province; this is the first time in which the Observatory documents the killing of women in this way at the hands of the organization in Syria.”

The Observatory explained that the two women were executed  alongside their husbands in the same way, after accusing them of witchcraft and sorcery.

ISIS has carried out several executions against women by stoning for adultery or shot to death on various charges.
