 ISIS is willing to carry out attacks against Germany, says Hans-Georg Maassen

(IraqiNews.com) The head of the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution Hans-Georg Maassen announced on Sunday the intention of the so-called ISIS to carry out attacks against Germany and its interests.

Maassen said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “We see the security situation as very serious, though we have no immediate intelligence on planned attacks in Germany,” adding that, “ISIS is willing to carry out attacks against Germany and German interests.”

Noteworthy the German authorities issued an arrest warrant against 76 suspects that were accused of preparing to carry out acts of violence, while also published information about monitoring 200 German citizens that had returned from Syria and Iraq.
