Mecca Summit concludes by suspending Syria membership
Mecca, Saudi Arabia (IraqiNews.com) The Conference of the Exceptional Summit for the Islamic Cooperation Organization held in Mecca, concluded work, early this Thursday, by issuing a decision to suspend Syria membership in the Organization.
The Final statement referred to the spate of violent suppression waged by the Syrian Government against its people.
The conference urged the Syrian authorities to immediately stop the violence and to allow the humanitarian relief organizations to enter Syria to relief the Syrian people.
The final statement also addressed a number of files, especially the Palestinian issue and the suffering of Muslims in Myanmar.
The summit which was attended by 40 States out of 57 members, has started its works, on Tuesday, August, 14th, with a speech by the King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, in which he suggested the establishment of a center for dialogue among the Islamic sects to be located in Riyadh.

I appreciate King Abdullah’s effort for muslim unity. In-fact there should be inter-sect dialogues and debates as everything is not truth in the history. The commands of Allah are clear having evidences. No human being has or had supernatural powers that changed the page of history. All pious people born and died like a human beings. The people are not great on the basis of being offspring to a pious person but his good behavior and just manners by accepting truth prove him great or mean person. The people passed thousand years before are the common ancestors of all people of modern age, their blood intermingled with all the races of globe. So, it is not good to use filthy languages to dead. The role of rulers of past can be seen that has majority accepted his rule or dethroned him and also notice his development works and achievement in the annals history and that proves the ability of ruler. We should accept truth and avoid manipulation of history. All sects should come together by accepting truth. There should have free discussions and search facts and accept truth like our prophet who rejected his forefathers religion and brought Islam. Mazharuddin
