Damascus (Syria News) The Syrian regime warplanes dropped nearly 4,568 explosive barrels on different areas in Syria during the first eight months of 2017, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) reported on Wednesday.

The SNHR revealed, “At least 92 explosive barrels, dropped by the Syrian regime forces on different areas of Syria, only in August.”

Meanwhile, Qasioun News stated that bombing the areas of Syria using explosive barrels violates the de-escalation agreement conducted in Astana 4, to establish three de-escalation zones in the southwest of Syria, north of Homs and Eastern Ghouta.

It is noteworthy that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out to the possibility of establishing an additional de-escalation zone in the countryside of Idlib.
