U.S. has learned hard lesson in Iraq, says Obama

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – US President Barack Obama announced on Monday, that his country has learned a hard lesson in Iraq, stressing the need to fight extremism and militancy in the world.

Obama said in his speech before the United Nations General Assembly and followed by IraqiNews.com, “we have to fight all the ideas that lead nations to wars and conflicts such as Iraq,” pointing out that “the United States has learned a hard lesson from the Iraq experience.”

Obama stressed the need to “fight against extremism and militancy in the world,” adding at the same time that “violence is not the best way to solve problems.”
