80% of Dhi-Qar security elements participate in voting

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) The Director of the Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC in Dhi-Qar province announced that “More than (80%) of the security elements have participated in the special ballot of provincial councils before closing the elections boxes on Saturday evening.”The Director of the Electoral Office, Muatamed al-Musawi, stated that “The elections centers were closed without any violations.””The initial statistics revealed the participation of more than (80%) of the security elements, who are allowed to vote, in Dhi-Qar province,” he added.
