(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abbadi travelled on an official visit to Italy and Germany to discuss security and economic issues.

Prime Minister’s office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Abadi will meet during his visit a number of officials in both countries to discuss the development of economic and security cooperation, as well as the needed weapons and equipment for the Iraqi forces and the training to enhance their victories against ISIS terrorist gang,” adding that, “The talks will focus on the support of the seven industrial countries to Iraq in order to develop its economy.”

The statement also pointed out, “Abadi will participate in the Munich Conference on Security that will be attended by representatives of various countries of the world to discuss ways of cooperation and coordination to enhance security and the war against terrorism.”
