Abadi invited by UNSC to attend its session over Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Haider al-Abadi, received an invitation by the UN Security Council to attend its session over the situation in Iraq.

The parliament Speaker, Saleem al-Jobouri stated during the parliament session today “The Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, was supposed to be invited for the UNSC session over the international support to Iraq and its situation.”

“Jaafary is currently in New York and he will be busy, so the Premier, Haider al-Abadi, will attend the session instead of him,” Jobouri concluded. /End/
