Accepting Nijaifi’s initiative represents only solution for current crisis, says Fatlawi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hasoun al-Fatlawi, of the Citizen bloc pointed out that accepting the initiative of the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, is the only solution for the current crisis over the disputed areas.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Nijaifi’s initiative, which involves withdrawing all the armed forces deployed by the Central Government and by the Kurdistani Regional Government in the disputed areas to be replaced by the local police forces, is welcomed widely by the two sides.”

“There is not other solution for this crisis except this initiative,” he remarked.

Nijaifi’s initiative involves withdrawing all the armed forces deployed by the Central Government and by the Kurdistani Regional Government in the disputed areas to be replaced by the local police forces that must be formed in a balanced way to include all the communities of these areas.
