A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday cited “The Council of Minister of Kurdistan Region held a meeting headed by the Premier of Kurdistan Region, Nijirvan Barzani, in presence of Ahmed to discuss Ahmed’s report over the meetings of the Kurdish delegation to Baghdad.”

“Ahmed stated, during the meeting, that the issues discussed with Baghdad were about the financial allocations of the Peshmerga elements, the governmental merits and the allocations of the companies working in Kurdistan Region in the oil and gas field,” the statement added, noting that “Ahmed assured that many notes over these issues were delivered to the officials in Baghdad.”
