Ahrar Bloc rejects Maliki’s nomination for 3rd term as Prime Minister

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussein al-Shirifi, of al-Ahrar bloc assured the rejection of al-Ahrar bloc to the nomination of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for the third term of the PM post.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, Shirifi said “Talking about pressurizing the Sadr Trend over nominating Maliki for the third term of the PM post is incorrect.”

“The aim of these reports is to defame the Sadr Trend by some political blocs where al-Ahrar bloc has a fixed stance which is to reject Maliki’s nomination for the PM post,” he concluded.
