Ahrar MP: Maliki, Barzani’s agreements of 2010 hurdle endorsement of 2014 budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Ahrar Bloc, MP Jawad al-Jubouri, pointed out that “The agreements concluded by the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and the President of the Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani in 2010 have not been fulfilled yet,” stressing that “Neglecting fulfillment of those agreements hurdle the endorsement of the 2014 budget law.”

MP Jubouri stated to IraqiNews.com “PM Maliki did not adhere to the agreements reached with Barzani in 2010 and the Government of Kurdistan Region did not adopt open dialogue to settle the disputes with Baghdad.”

He called all political sides to “Adopt dialogue in order to endorse the budget law draft and safe Iraq from the crisis.”
