(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced, in his meeting with president of the US House of Representatives John Boehner, that the Volunteer Fighters (al-Hashd al-Sha’bi) is a state institution, stressing that battle is continuing to liberate every inch of the Iraqi lands.
Abadi said in a statement issued on the sidelines of the meeting followed by IraqiNews.com, “Iraq faces many challenges and there is a massive polarization in the region,” adding that, “Our enemy represented by the ISIS group and the other terrorist organizations benefit from this polarization.”
