Alewi: Anbar demonstrations politicized, supported by regional sides

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Karim Alewi, of the Iraqi National Alliance stated “Lifting the photos of the tyrant Saddam Hussein and the Turkish Premier, Recep Tayib Erdogan in addition to the flags of the, what is so called, the Free Iraqi Army in Anbar demonstrations is the biggest evidence about politicizing these demonstrations that do not serve the citizens of Anbar.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) We do reject discriminating any political side and this is not in our policy where we respect all the political sides and sects,” noting that “We support the national reconciliation but not by dealing with the terrorism and al-Qaeda Terrorist Organization that attempt to destroy the political process and divide Iraq to control it.”

“We support the constitutional demonstrations that respect the law and security, but the demonstrations in Anbar are supported by regional sides that show enmity to Iraq and wish to bring sectarianism back,” he concluded.
