Alewi calls IS to have national initiative to settle crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Karim Alewi, of the Iraqi National Alliance attributed the main reason to the crisis in Iraq to the Iraqiya Slate, calling it “To have a national initiative to gather the political blocs and settle the crisis.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The IS is requested to have a national initiative by gathering the political blocs and holding a national meeting to settle the crisis in Iraq because it ha hindered holding the national meeting where all sides agreed on holding it.”

“If the IS do the national initiative, the political process will be save from the collapse,” he added, noting that “The initiative must be serious in conducting the dialogue and settling the pending issue to save Iraq.”
