Allawi: Key figures, chieftains to join INAM during next elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, reveled that some key figures and chieftains contact the Iraqi National Accord Movement to join it in the next elections.

A statement by the INA Movement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday cited “While meeting the members of the INAM of Baghdad and the provinces, Allawi stressed the necessity of the next local elections that will be held in next April.”

The statement quoted Allawi, as saying “The INAM, since its establishment in 1975, has fought the injustice. So, it is a big responsibility that we have to hold in the current situations to participate in the next elections where some key figures and chieftains contacted the Movement to join it due to its affective role in Iraq.”
