Anti-Terrorism director assassinated in Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source revealed that the director of the Anti-Terrorism organization was killed in an armed attack in Kirkuk.

The source said in interview for IraqiNews.com, “Unidentified gunmen attacked Col. Dargham Khairallah, director of the Anti-Terrorism when he was in a taxi in Shorja district, north of Kirkuk. He was killed while the driver accompanying him survived.”

Noteworthy, the Kirkuk province has lately witnessed the killing and injuring of dozens of ISIS elements by the US-led coalition aerial attacks.
