Arab League delegation heads to Iraq on Saturday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation from the Arab League comprising 40 legal and political figures headed by the former Premier of Egypt, Isam Sharaf, heads on Saturday to Iraq to participate in the Legal Awareness Conference that will be held on 10th-12th of current March in Iraq.

The representative of Iraq to the Arab League, the Ambassador Qais al-Azawi, said “This conference came through cooperation between Iraq and the Secretary General of the Arab League, where this conference is one of Iraq’s initiatives during the regular presidency for the Arab League.”

“This conference aims to promote the legal awareness and consolidate the national awareness as being the elements of the state of law,” he added.
