Araji describes development of crisis between Baghdad & Erbil as end of democracy in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, Baha al-Araji described the developments of the crisis between the Iraqi Central Government and Kurdistan Regional Government as end of democracy in Iraq especially after the language of the dialogue between the two sides turned into a language of weapons.

Araji cited “The escalation of the disputes between the ICG and KRG is something regrettable especially since the dialogue between both sides shifted into a military nature after the advance of the federal military forces and the movement of the Peshmerga forces in Kirkuk province.”

Araji called both sides to end this chaos through resorting to the Federal Court and adopt the constitution’s provisions.
