Askari describes holding unified prayer in Baghdad as "Heresy"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sami al-Askari, of the State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, described holding a unified prayer in Baghdad as “Heresy.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We do not think that holding a unified prayer in Baghdad is correct, but it is a heresy where we can gather the prayers from Basra to Baghdad and see which side is more, but these things cannot help the current situation.”

“The Iraqiya Slate lost its masses due to the way that it deals with the government and the parliament which will cause in making the extremist sides and the Ba’athists to create tensions in Iraq,” he added.

He called “The IS to realize the danger of the current situation and the contingencies of the Qaeda and Ba’ath Party,” assuring that “If Maliki is their opponent, all the political blocs will be their enemies in the opponents.”
