Baghdad PC not able to perform its supervisory role, says Timimi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of Baghdad Provincial Council, Sabah al-Timimi, assured that Baghdad PC can not perform its supervisory role.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “Baghdad PC is hurdled by regulations prevent it from practicing its supervisory role,” noting that “The PC can not dismiss an employee in a Governmental Department.”

“Baghdad PC recognized the failure of the executive sides who implement the services projects and reported them to the concerned side but they did not take any procedures against the dilatory sides,” she concluded.

Some observers confirm that Baghdad PC can not practice its legislative and supervisory role due to the political disputes.
