Bahr al-Aloum: Basra as Economic Capital of Iraq to be first project by Citizen Alliance in next government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The nominees of the Citizen Alliance, Ibrahim Bahr al-Aloum, stated that the project of Basra as the Economic Capital of Iraq will be the first project by the Citizen Alliance in the new government.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The importance of the project of Basra as the Economic Capital of Iraq requests us to discuss it before any other projects due to its benefit to the citizens of Basra and the Iraqis in general.”

“The Citizen Alliance did not and will not use this project and any other projects for the electoral propaganda where this project was suggested by the Citizen Alliance a long time ago,” he concluded.
