(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, Bahraini Foreign Ministry has summoned Iraqi Ambassador in Manama, Ahmed Naif Rashid al-Dulaimi, and handed him a formal memorandum of protest, stressing the need for the Iraqi government to take all necessary measures to prevent any form of interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom.

Bahraini news agency quoted Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa as saying, “The Kingdom of Bahrain highly values ​​its relations with the Republic of Iraq and always seeks to develop and strengthen them in all areas; It is keen on Iraq’s security and stability, safety and territorial integrity, and contributes with full force in cooperation with the International Alliance to eliminate ISIS in Iraq. ”

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister added that, “his country totally rejects the interference in the internal affairs of any party, and stresses that the Iraqi government should take all necessary measures to stop criminal acts aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of Bahrain,” emphasizing that, “the kingdom will take all necessary actions to enhance security and stability and the protection of its interests in this regard “.
