Urgent – Ministers of Ahrar bloc withdraw from Shihristani’s Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministers of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend withdrew from the Ministerial Committee headed by the Deputy Premier, Hussein al-Shihristani, which is tasked to follow up the demands of the demonstrators.

The spokesperson of the Sadr Trend, Salah al-Obaidi, stated in a press conference held at the headquarter of the Political Committee of al-Sadr Trend “Our ministers withdrew from the Seven-side Committee due to the lack of the professional resolution,” noting that “The political disputes is the common feature in the political scene.”

“The call of the religious authority emphasizes that the committees must achieve real resolutions that are suitable to the crisis where not adhering to this call was a reason to the increase of the crisis,” he concluded.
