(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The cleric Moqtada al-Sadr stressed on Saturday that the calls for transforming the system from parliamentary to presidential intend to control the Iraqis by one person.

Sadr said in response to a question about the transform of the Iraqi system from a parliamentary system to a presidential one:”it is clear that they intend to control Iraq and Iraqis by one person.”

The head of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri stressed on June 23, 2015 that the conversion of a parliamentary system to a presidential one needs to be a constitutional amendment, while called not to reduce the value of the current system.

It is said that some political forces are demanding between now and then to convert the parliamentary system to a presidential one; some of those blocks consider that as a solution to the problems in the country.
