Chairman of Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly hopes to visit Iraq soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Jakarta, Abdullah Hassan Saleh met Mr. Siderato Danosoproto Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly at his office in the Parliament.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the visit, the Ambassador explained the political and economic situation in Iraq in addition to the positions and policies of the Iraqi government to attract foreign companies and investments to contribute in the campaign of Iraq’s reconstruction, expressing hope that the Indonesian companies will have part in this process.”

“For his part, Mr. Danosoproto paid tribute to the relations between the two countries, and Iraq’s role in the making of the human civilization, hoping to visit Iraq in the nearest time,” the statement concluded.
