Citizen bloc not to vote on General Amnesty Law on Monday Parliament session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ali Shubbar of the Citizen bloc announced that “His bloc will not vote on the General Amnesty law in its current draft.”

Shubbar told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The general amnesty law draft if remained as it is, we will never vote on it since it includes the terrorists and the murderers, describing the law a “jeopardy”.

He ruled out endorsing the law in its original draft during tomorrow Monday session, noting “There are attempts by some political blocs to redraft it.”

“The majority of the Iraqi people agree on redrafting the law,” Shubbar stressed.
