Citizen bloc within Diwaniyah PC rejects constructing residences to PC members

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Citizen bloc within Diwaniyah Provincial Council rejected constructing residences to the members of Diwaniyah PC in subsidized prices.

A source within the Citizen bloc stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The members of the Citizen bloc rejected a suggestion to construct residences to Diwaniyah PC members in subsidized prices,” noting that “The rejection is based on the instructions of the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim.”

“The project is not suitable at the current situation of the citizens in the province and against the ambitions of the bloc in helping the citizens in all fields where the rejection was to support the citizens.”

Some observers stated that there is a residential crisis in the provinces where the prices of the estates are expensive and the owners specify the prices without any conditions to limit them.
