Corruption prevails state institutions in Iraq, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the parliamentary Integrity Committee, MP Aliya Nusaiyf confirmed that “The corruption is prevalent in all the state institutions in Iraq where the corruption is considered as political corruption rather than being financial or administrative corruption.”

Nusaiyf stated to IraqiNews.com “There are senior and influential officials at the state departments involved in the political corruption.”

She added “The majority of the corruption files that were announced by the Integrity Committee were sent to the judiciary.”
