Dahlaki: Citizens of Gaza strip call to release Palestinian detainees in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, the member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee stated that the one of the parliamentary delegation to Gaza has visited some of the Palestinian families who requested to release the Palestinian detainees in Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The citizens of Gaza strip called us as being representatives of the Iraqi parliament, to endorse the General Amnesty law draft and include the Palestinian detainees in it.”

“All the political blocs must not relate this issue to their political disputes and to achieve the interests of the citizens,” he added.

Earlier, the parliament postponed the endorsement of the General Amnesty law draft due to the tensions among the political blocs.
