Davutoglu, Masoum discuss activating cooperation convention between Iraq, Turkey

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Foud Masoum, hosted the Turkish Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu and the accompanying delegation at Salam Palace in Baghdad on Thursday.

 

The Presidency of the State reported in a statement received by Iraqi News ”Masoum welcomed the Turkish PM and emphasized the importance of his visit within the current special circumstances.””During the meeting Masoum assured that Iraq is looking forward for more cooperation with Turkey in the field of combating terrorism,” the statement added.”Davutoglu stated that the visit is aim at promoting the cooperation and friendship bonds and activate the strategic cooperation convention which was concluded between Iraq and Turkey in 2009,” the statement concluded. \End\
