Demonstrations in Iraq caused by bad economic situation, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussein Raysan, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, attributed the demonstrations in some provinces to the bad economic situation.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Any political, social and financial crisis is caused by an economic reason where many of the problems of the demonstrators that are related to the political side are exploited to gain political interests because of the bad economic situation which forces the citizens to be involved in the political conflict.”

“Many of the involved people in the terrorism laws were for economic purposes as well because they suffer from the lack of service and the incorrect use of authority,” he concluded.
