Demonstrators protest arresting Esawi’s guards in Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A number of citizens demonstrated to protest arresting the guards of the Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi, calling to release them.

IraqiNews.com reporter mentioned “After Friday prayer, a number of citizens organized a demonstration in central Mosul calling to release Esawi’s guards on Friday.”

Anbar province recently witnessed demonstrations and sit-ins in protest for arresting the guards of the Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi.

Earlier, a military force raided the office of the commander of the Esawi’s guards in the International Green Zone and arrested the guards in spite of Esawi’s presence in the office.
