Eqbal urges religious authorities, chieftains, CSGs to intervene to resolve political crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Eqbal of the Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate called the religious authorities, chieftains, and the civil society organizations to interfere to address the current political crisis, noting that “The crisis became interlinked with the electoral file.”

Eqbal said that “The lack of commitment to the previous agreements among the political leaders reflected negative image that the political blocs will not adhere to the future agreements,” indicating that “The chance to resolve the current crisis became very weak.”
