Esawi denies negotiating with government over his issue

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi, denied negotiating with the government over his issue or the other issues related to the demands of the demonstrations.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he assured “Negotiating with the government can only be done by the public committees authorized by the demonstrators,” stressing that “The demands of the demonstrators are constitutional.”

“The Iraqi government must adhere to the demands of the demonstrators,” he added, assuring “His support to these demands.”

He stressed the necessity of “Not politicizing the demonstrations to the interest of a certain political party, but the demonstrations should be for achieving the reformation in Iraq.”
