Esawi: Some political sides competes for gaining tribes\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aboud al-Esawi, of the Parliamentary Committee of Tribes pointed out “Some political sides are competing for gaining the loyalty of the tribes for their personal interests and agendas.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The social texture of Iraq is tribal in nature,” noting that “The tribes are the safety for the national unity and the social unity due to their historical record in confronting crises and sectarianism that aim at dividing the country.”

“The tribal figures are against terrorism and the agendas of the neighboring countries,” he added.

“Some sides are attempting to attract the tribal for them but the tribal loyalty to Iraq is common among them despite the different communities of Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen,” he stressed.

“Iraqis are able to stand against the plots and overcome them through unity,” he concluded.
