Hakim, Jalili discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Secretary General of Supreme Council of Iranian National Security, Saeed Jalili, discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hakim expressed his hope of bright future for Iraq while receiving Jalili in Tehran,” noting that “He also praised the Iraqis positive way in consolidating unity and stability in Iraq.”

“For his part, Jalili expressed his comfort for Iraq’s ability to overcome the political and security problems in addition to its role in sustaining security in the region,” the statement concluded.
