Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Secretary General for the Iranian National Council, Saeed Jalili, discussed the issues of mutual concerns and bilateral relations.
A statement by Iranian News Agency cited “Jalili received Hakim in Tehran on last Sunday where they talked about the issues of the mutual concerns.”
“Jalili confirmed during the meeting that enemies of Iraq will fail in creating disputes among its communities,” the statement added.
“Jalili also stressed the internal Iraqi unity and assured that Iraq to solve the security and political crises under the democratic regime,” the statement continued.
“For his part, Hakim explained the latest developments in Iraq and emphasized cooperation and unity among Iraq to hinder the hostile plots against Iraq,” the statement concluded.
