Hakim, Representative of Religious Authority discuss general situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Representative of the Religious Authority in Basra, Imad al-Batat, discussed the general situation in the country.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim met Batat where they reviewed the security file and the services in the province and confirmed the necessity of paying the required attention for Basra to provide suitable life conditions for its citizens.”

Earlier, Hakim visited Basra province on last Monday.
