Hakim: SIIC not to accept statements result in killing Iraqis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, reassured the adherence of the SIIC on not accepting the statements that gain electoral votes and result in killing the Iraqis.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “While receiving a delegation from al-Miwajid Tribe in Baghdad, Hakim expressed his support to the rights of the Iraqi people regardless their religion or sect, urging the officials to expedite settling the pending issues to provide the services to the citizens.”

He called “All sides to be patient and adhere to the dialogue to settle the disputes according to the law and the constitution,” appreciating “The role of the Miwajid Tribe in consolidating the unity among all the constituents of the Iraqi people.”

“For its part, the delegation appreciated the vital role of al-Hakims in defending the rights of the Iraqis,” the statement concluded.
