Hakim, US Ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the US Ambassador to Iraq, Steven Becroft, the bilateral relations between both countries.

A statement by the SIIC cited on Tuesday “Hakim stressed during welcoming Beecroft, the necessity of dialogue to resolve the current political crisis in Iraq.”

“The two sides tackled the US-Iraqi bilateral relations in addition to discussing the political developments witnessed by the region,” the statement added.
