Hakim, US official discuss political updates in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the US Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq’s Affairs discussed the political updates in Iraq.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received the US official at his office in Baghdad on last Thursday.”

“The US Ambassador to Baghdad, Robert Beecroft attended the meeting,” the statement concluded.
