Hamoudi calls Turkey to deal with united Iraq not certain political sides

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Humam Hamoudi, called Turkey to deal with the united Iraq that has sovereignty and not with certain political sides because it will be a part of the internal issues of Iraq.

He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday “Baghdad and Ankara have mutual relations and interests to serve their peoples and the region that witnesses an exceptional situation that requires all of us to unite in order to deal with it.”

“It is incorrect to deal with Iraq by one sides as it was before 2008 because now Iraq has its stamp and effect in the region,” he added, stressing the necessity of “Establishing a mutual relation based of the mutual respect and does not be affected by the changeable political issues.”

“The cooperation between Iraq and Turkey in addition to some other important countries such as Iraq can make reasonable resolutions to deal with the regional issues to preserve the region from the unexpected results,” he pointed out.

He recalled Turkey, Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to “Hold an urgent meeting and open discussions to discuss the regional issue to show the real role of the parliaments of these countries.’
