Hamoudi, Finnish official discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the parliament Foreign Committee, Humam Hamoudi discussed on Thursday with the Director of Africa & Middle East Affairs Department at Finnish Foreign Ministry, the Iraqi-Finnish bilateral relations.

A statement by the Committee cited on Thursday that “Hamoudi who visits Finland currently met with the earlier mentioned Finnish official, Risto Babonin, where Hamoudi called to open Finnish embassy in Iraq, stressing that “This step would actively contribute in exchanging expertise in sectors of Education, Health, Communications, Services, Infrastructures and Information Technology.”

“For his part, Babonin welcomed Hamoudi’s visit to Finland, highlighting its role in strengthening the relations between both countries,” the statement added.
