Hashimi’s lawyers demand to transfer case to Kurdistan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The trial session of the judicially wanted Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi has been lifted for discussion, meanwhile the lawyers of Hashimi have renewed their demands to transfer the case to courts of Kurdistan Region or Kirkuk province.

Judicial source reported on Sunday “The General Attorney demanded to charge VP Hashimi with two murder case related to assassinating the lawyer Suhad al-Ubaidi and the officer of the National Security Department Talib Balasim while the other people who have personal rights and were affected by Hashimi have demanded to charge him for all their cases.”
